Welcome to Twilight Linen. We are a family run business in Auckland, New Zealand. 

A love of textiles and passion for sewing has been passed down in my family for many generations. With needlecraft becoming a lost art I feel very blessed to have been taught these skills throughout my childhood. I have many fond memories of sitting at the sewing machine with my mother as she made miniature bedding to help foster my imaginative play. Little did I realise how important those skills would become. 

Motherhood and a search for the best quality bedding for my precious little bundle started the story of Twilight Linen. After choosing to live a slower more considered lifestyle, my desire for quality sustainable products grew. The more I learnt about textiles the more flax seemed the obvious choice. Flax is considered a highly renewable resource with a very small environmental impact. Its fibres are naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial making it perfect for a babies soft skin. The natural temperature regulating properties offer cooling on those hot sticky summer nights while warming and cosy in winter. After spending a lot more time bed bound nurturing our new small human my obsession with linen grew and it seemed obvious to surround myself with it. I wear it, sleep in it and generally feel my happiest tucked up in freshly washed, line dried linen.

We have started our range with bassinet and cot linen, inspired by the dreamy hues of twilight to keep your smallest family members snug and cosy and I hope you love it as much as we do.
